Please remember to pay your membership fee by online Bank Transfer as son as possible after completing the membership process, as you are not in membership until payment has been received.

Please contact either the Chair or Membership Secretary prior to applying for membership so we can ensure the club meets your needs in terms of paddle sports and activities available.  Please see the Contact Us page for further details.

For new and/or novice paddlers, we can discuss availability and costs of the winter pool sessions, or we are happy to get people paddling with us for the first time in our novice sessions on one of the local lakes.

All memberships run to 30 April each year.  If you’re joining us close to our annual renewal date, we will roll your membership over to the next year.  So if you’re joining us in early 2021, your membership will run until 30 April 2022.

Our current annual membership packages* are as follows (March 2021):

  • Junior £18 – under 18 on 1 May
  • Adult £31
  • Family £42 – up to 6 members, all children under 18 on 1 May

* Please note that for insurance purposes, Canoe Wales membership is compulsory for anyone who wishes paddle with the club, this has to be obtained separately and costs from £10 per year for an adult (Family and junior discounts apply).  Please visit Canoe Wales website for full details: 

We have a large range of clothing, safety equipment and a variety of boats which are freely available for all members to borrow and use free of charge so there is no need to start buying expensive kit straight away.
